Search for a place on Google Maps At the top, tap the search box and enter an address, name of a place, or choose a category, like gas stations or groceries. Tip: After you find a place on the map, you can check directions to the place in a list, details about a place, or get directions with voice-guided navigation.

The name of a place. For example, the name of the place where a Professor or Research Scholar exchange visitor will be participating in his/her program activity outside the United States.

If you are not using your mouse, you can use keyboard shortcuts to rotate Google Maps on your PC. All you need to do is to press and hold the “Ctrl” key on your keyboard and use the arrow keys to rotate the map in the desired direction.

Settings and privacy. Under “Location settings,” check that it says “Location is on.” If it doesn't, tap Location is off and turn on Location. Under “Location settings,” check that it says “Location History is on.” If it doesn't, tap Location History is off and turn on Location History.
